Nov 12, 2020 · Can I use a circular saw instead of a miter saw? The answer is yes, but beginners beware. Novices are probably not the best candidate for a solely circular saw project. Circular saws are much more versatile than miter saws, but they also require a bit more skill, at least for certain jobs.
Jul 10, 2008 · A table saw wouldn't be a good choice for the beadboard either, as it's tough to feed large sheets through the saw unless you buy a large cabinet-grade saw ($2,000 or so). I'd buy the miter saw, a 6 1/2" circular saw, and a clamping straightedge for making clean, straight cuts in the panels.
