There's a theory that John Deere purposely designed the tractors so that they would leak oil and transmission fluid as a means of preserving the paint. Unfortunately that only works UNDERNEATH the tractor!! Anyhow.... The first thing you need to do when you get your tractor, (especially if it runs), is change the oil.
